Baby anh, rambutan (2024)
A short experimental film capturing a tender conversation between Anh and his mother about migration, sacrifice, and identity. Through stop-motion imagery, the film symbolically weaves themes of memory, belonging, and transformation. Baby photos and shifting light sequences trace Anh’s journey from childhood to self-expression, celebrating the beauty of growing between cultures and embracing one’s identity. We acknowledge the Wakka Wakka, Turrbal and Yugara as the First Nations owners of the lands where this film was created.
